AEterna Zentaris is poised to bring a paradigm shifting BPH treatment to merchandise. In addition to a novel molecule (Cetrorelix) for treating BPH. AEterna Zentaris holds other important pieces of the complex puzzle needed to successfully create a new medicate and bring it to merchandise.

The reductions in serum testosterone levels were not at castration levels and did not undergo an adverse cause on sexual activity or libido.
In addition to promising clinical studies the management team at AEterna is another important factor in the potential success of Cetrorelix. The team includes seasoned professionals with successful experience in the many facets of developing and commercializing a new drug.
The CEO. David Mazzo has extensive experience in all areas of drug development. He has a PhD in analytical chemistry and began his career in the pharmaceutical industry in the labs at Merck. He went on to work with Baxter. Rhône-Poulenc Rorer. Hoechst Marion Roussel and Schering-Plough. Most recently he served as president and CEO of the US subsidiary of Chugai.
The management aggroup also includes Ellen McDonald as Chief Business Officer. Ellen began her career as a sales rep with Jansen and went on to lead marketing efforts at Jansen. Ortho McNeil and Ortho Biotech and served as Senior VP Cardiovascular Marketing and Medical at Bristol Myers Squib.
