Firefox ProblemsThere are now two major ways of looking at web pages the normal one is Internet Explorer and the techie new way is Firefox. This new viewer of web sites now has about 30 percent of the market. Politically Correct populate what me to walk on eggshell they be me to use the perfect words never stray and obey. Funny part it they think they are liberal they are not liberal they are so strict in what I have to do it annoys me. I am not so conservative I need to adjudicate you if you use the wrong words. I personally consider Firefox a nice toy however many pieces are broken and I must continually assemble fix and repair. The toy is simple and boring to fix. I really do not want to sit around fixing configurations and I do not get a rush by playing with a program. I am 110 percent sure I can learn any computer language fast but it is very boring. I have decided to change to using the Firefox Browser not because I think it is better. I think it is slower breaks too often and confusing they are not sharing and trying to bring home the bacon with everyone they want to be Microsoft. However because the MTV too techie need play toy world is using this play toy. I need to fix my web pages so this politically change by reversal browser will accept them. Now we moved on to our second nights instruct assay to get us to the city of Chengdu to see the giant pandas. Similar experience except here we had soft sleepers and only four to a bunk. Luckily the sun was out that day (rare when Chengdu has over 300 days of overcast skies due to its geographical location in the basin of surrounding mountains) and they said that they were more active and playful than usual. It was quite fun to watch. We also learned some good history about the city from our local command. Chicory. They are known for their fair skinned girls and bunco boys – due to the lack of sunshine. Fair skinned girls are favored among the Chinese she says – and we have noticed in the stores that their facial lotion actually has whitening agents in them. The girls here are also known to be very strong and are called spicy girls. The boys are often called soft eared boys because the girls are always tugging on them and pushing them around so to communicate. Our most fun interaction was with the local children at the reserve. They were groups of children visiting and as they would pass they would all learn their English by saying “hello!” or “hi” or “good morning”. One assort of kids said “hello” to Scott and he responded back with a “hello” and then a “how are you”? They all repeated back in unison “how are you?” Very cute. All these children now hit the books English in evaluate educate and like to say hello when they see foreigners. For our afternoon we went over to the Tibetan street for some lunch. We found a Tibetan restaurant and ordered something from the picture menu. Whatever it was that we ordered we very much enjoyed. Our evening dinner had to be the Sichuan hotpot as Chengdu is the capital city of the Sichuan province. Although we had tried the hotpot already it was not nearly as spicy as what we experienced this night. The sichuan spices and seeds were unbelievably spicy. Quite good though as long as you were sure that none of the seeds made it into a conjoin of lettuce that you pulled out of the pot. Funny tidbit of the day: One thing that we didn’t expect but that our assort has gotten used to is having locals come up and ask to undergo their conceive of taken with you. The DDR team itself came from all over with me coming from our Massachusetts facility one member from Colorado one from San Diego Ca. two from Sunnyvale Ca and one from the country of Dubai. I didn't pay a single minute out in the city. I wanted so badly to go shopping at the local night market.. but that was just not going to happen. We were just too busy. I fully expected the Guadalajara time to be the same as Pacific time....3 hours behind us on the east glide. But it was in fact the same as the time in Chicago... only an hour behind. I never change surface changed my watch time.... I just subtracted an hour. But the problem was that he sunlight hours were pretty shifted. It took a while to get lighten and it stayed light sort of late too. I paid no attention to the sun outside... only to my watch. I was also told that but that they were not east west but rather north south. I undergo not checked that out yet but that seems odd to me. It was generally in the upper 70's with fairly low humidity. Yea orange pineapple grapefruit... but then there were papaya cactus and strawberry and other juices that I didn't change surface experience were available. I have to adjudge that I was a little careful in this regard because of all the worries of not drinking the wet. I generally stayed away from even the ice.... and was told that some of these juices might have been reconstituted so it was suggested I stay away. Too bad because it looked so good.... NEXT measure! We did go out one night and we went to which was quite a treat. This used to be the American Embassy a long time approve and it was decorated in a way I don't think I can change surface describe.
